Golf through Better Health |
|
Sometimes people have the
misconception that golf isn’t really a ‘sport’ and that a person
doesn’t have to be an ‘athlete’ to play.
Let’s not be fooled by seeing a few potbellies on TV.
Most of the PGA Tour Players are pretty fair athletes with a high
degree of strength and flexibility related to their sport.
We all have
encountered players, friends, and possibly ourselves holding the
antiquated idea about the amount of physical fitness that is required to
enjoy the game or be a good player. Such
attitudes would be comical if they didn’t mean that people risk injury
by trying to play without proper conditioning, strength and coaching. |
Stretching & Strengthening Level 1
For
novice to advanced golfers, this fitness course prepares the golfer to
stretch and strengthen those muscles and ligaments that are used in golf
yet are uncommonly used in daily activity.
Increased flexibility and improved overall golf-muscle conditioning
will improve your physical readiness to maximize your enjoyment and golf
results.

Golf Fitness for Women
Customarily
a woman’s golf game relies more on swing control, shot accuracy and
course management versus physical strength and distance shots.
This four, one-hour fitness series provides various drills,
stretching and strengthening techniques to feel physically comfortable on
the golf course, to minimize risk of injury, increase accuracy and
distance.
